The above notice actually appeared in an August 1935 issue of the trade publication The Film Daily.
Walt Disney had just returned from a trip to Europe. Disney historian Didier Ghez has been researching the trip and has discovered some cool facts, which he plans to share at a later date.
And just one day after the above notice was published, the following account of the party appeared in print. (Notice how the writer spelled Disney licensing rep Kay Kamen's name wrong . . . a common occurrence in this particular publication.)
