Besides the Mickey Mouse lights, NOMA also manufactured sets featuring characters from the Silly Symphony shorts, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio.
As seen in this ad the Mickey Mouse set cost $1.80, which was a fair amount of money back then. The decals on the bells featured great graphics of a long-beaked Donald Duck, as well as Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck, Pluto and a couple of smaller mice. The illustrations on the bells feature the characters engaged in various Christmas activities including carrying a Christmas tree, playing instruments, singing carols and hanging a wreath.
The Mickey Mouse set pops up on eBay with frequency. The Snow White set is rare and the Pinocchio set is ultra rare. I have the box for the Pinocchio set in my collection, minus the shades. The problem for collectors is finding a set of bells in nice condition. The decals were easily scratched and the heat from the light bulb often caused the decal's adhesive glue to discolor and turn brown over time.
In keeping with my Christmas only theme this month, I'll be posting more images from these sets over the next two weeks.
